Meline Avanesyan, MHM
Manager of Philanthropy
Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center would like to welcome Meline Avanesyan to the Glendale Memorial Health Foundation team. Meline joins us with over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the healthcare and skilled nursing industry. She will be the taking on the role of manager of philanthropy with a focus on employee, physician and annual community giving.
For the last five years she has been the marketing director at Leisure Glen Post-Acute Care Center and is well acquainted with the local physicians, hospital administration, and community leaders. She grew up in Glendale has extensive involvement with local community organizations and non-profits, including serving on past event committees for Glendale Memorial Health Foundation. Meline received her bachelor's degree in public health education from California State University Northridge and a master’s degree in Health Management from Kaplan University.
Meline has come full circle and has returned home to Glendale Memorial Hospital where she served as a Physical Therapy Aide in the rehabilitation department while obtaining her undergraduate degree. Her goal is to make strong progress in fundraising efforts for the hospital from her network of medical, professional and community ties.
